The grand finale of the Big 5 major international pageants is around the corner and every country is putting their best foot forward to select the most viable, talented and beautiful candidates to represent their nation at the grandest level. Most of the countries have selected their delegates, but the national pageants are still up and running to bring forth the best.

It seems like Asia has become the hub of all things beautiful and along with it this is a great opportunity for the continent to boost its tourism sector as well as its global relations. The Big 5 pageants to be held in Asia this year are-
Miss Universe 2018
Miss Universe 2018 will be the 67th Miss Universe pageant. The grand finale will be held on 17th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Miss World 2018
The grand finale of Miss World 2018 will be the 68th edition of the Miss World pageant which will take place on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar from India will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Miss Earth 2018
Miss Earth 2018 finale will be held on 3rd November 2018 in Pasay City, Philippines. Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco will be crowning her successor in the event. This will be the 18th edition of Miss Earth pageant.
Miss International 2018
Miss International 2018 will be the 58th Miss International pageant and will be held in Tokyo, Japan on 9th November 2018. Miss International 2017 Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Miss Grand International 2018
Miss Grand International 2018 will be hosting its grand finale on 25th October 2018 in the city of Rangoon, Myanmar. This will be the 6th edition of the Miss Grand International contest. Miss Grand International 2017 Maria Jose Lora from Peru will be crowning her successor at the end of the finale.
