The beauty queens who are not only role models to thousands of people out there but are also socially responsible to step up and encourage their followers to do the right thing. Our beauty queens are practicing social distancing and working on their advocacies as well via internet. Using the power of technology, the queens have decided to unite as one and help everyone fight with the pandemic under #UniverseUnited.
Miss Universe Organization posted a picture on their social media account stating that Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi and Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega will be conducting a live chat session to talk about the current happenings as well as what they have been up to during such times. The divas also spoke about Paulina’s experience judging Miss Universe this year and life after the crown the live video chat was conducted on 5th May 2020 at 13:00 PM ET.
During the live chat, Zozibini asked the former Miss Universe about what she has been up to during the pandemic. The diva stated that she has been at home since the lockdown and trying to stay strong and positive. Paulina joked about the fact that she had been procrastinating to take up an English course for the past two years and now when she has the time to do that, she still hasn’t taken that up. But she has started to read and watch English movies without subtitles. The diva shared that even though she is a bad painter, she has been painting for some weeks now and just trying to get the right essence of the painting.
Paulina mentioned that whenever she is in Colombia, she mostly stays at home and by now, she has been used to staying alone at home. The divas stated that the Miss Universe’s job is a never-ending job and people don’t get it but there is no stopping to the work. Remembering about her reign, Paulina stated that she was getting interview at 3 am and after the reign.
Paulina mentioned that while her reign and post her reign, she has been very active to work. She likes taking up challenges, new experiences and she is very glad that she got such things to experience. Pauline complimented Zozi for her accent and stated that if there is any accent she can have, it’ll be of Zozi’s. The diva later chatted about Paulina’s role at the judging panel and how the two have created their own marking in the Miss Universe world.
The divas also spoke about their one moment during their Miss Universe competition when they felt that they might win. Paulina stated that it was her final look when she finally felt that she can win and Zozi stated that they did not have a final look but she felt very confident throughout. Paulina also mentioned that she is going to change her blog a little and work with her siblings for the first time ever and focus on things like Mental Health, Finance, Lifestyle etc. The two chatted for a while and answered some of the fan’s questions that were asked during the live. The two gorgeous ladies had a very positive vibe all through out the live session which was such a treat to watch and hear.
The two have been practicing social distancing and working on their selves and taking up activities to make their days productive. Zozibini is also working for her advocacy which is gender equality. Prior to this, Zozi has conducted live chat sessions with Catriona Gray, Cheslie Kryst, Halima Aden, Demi-Leigh Nel Peters etc.
