The Welcome Reception for the 71st Miss Universe delegates was held at the Gallier Hall, New Orleans where the delegates were officially welcomed by the Miss Universe organization. The event was also attended by the one and only Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu as well as the new owner of MUO Anne Jakrajutatip.
The contestants attended the event dazzling in their evening gowns and dresses, looking every bit glamourous which seemed to be the theme of the night. Amidst the history of the Gallier Hall, surrounded by the rich history of New Orleans, Miss Universe organization hosted yet another stunning night.

Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022
Celeste Cortesi came and conquered in a gold gown with a stunning puffed coat made by one and only Michael Levya. The sophisticated look oozed of confidence and grace, which is exactly how people describe Celeste as well. Rocking the gown with her mesmerizing smile, Celeste was a sight to behold at the event.
Maria Fernanda Aristizabal Miss Universe Colombia 2022
Maria Fernanda is the blonde queen of Miss Universe 2022 for sure. She came to the event rocking a black thigh high slit gown with black gloves, rightfully in the New Orleans 70s era! Her hair tied in a bun with a tiny necklace, Maria oozed elegance and sophistication at the event.
Divita Rai Miss Universe India 2022
Divita Rai entered the gala looking like an Indian princess in a Falguni Shane Peacock India creation which was an ode to the Indian culture and craftsmanship. With a ‘mattha patti’ on her forehead and stunning gold earrings, Divita definitely rocked the look at the event.
Andrei´na Martínez Founier Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2022
Andreina Martinez literally shimmied her way into the night in a Ekaj creation which honored the American Football Team, Saints. The yellow dazzling gown fitted her perfectly as she kept her hair tied in a pony keeping her look elegant.
Alessia Rovegno Miss Universe Peru 2022
Alessia came to the gala in a Giannina Azar creation and literally looked like a star. With dangling earrings, Alessia opted to keep her hair flowing. The beautiful studded stars on her dress made her look nothing less than a diva!
Yasmina Zaytoun Miss Universe Lebanon 2022
Yasmina Zaytoun looked like a shining blue diamond in the corset blue gown with tiny earrings and hair tied in a high braided pony. We think small gloves with the gown, and it would have been a show-stopper! Nevertheless, Yasmina looked stunning at the gala.
Irma Miranda Miss Universe Mexico 2022
Irma rocked the gala look in a Tete´ Rosado silver embellished high slit gown. With tiny studs for earrings, a high bun and a small clutch to go, Irma definitely looked gorgeous.
Viktoria Apanasenko Miss Universe Ukraine 2022
Viktoria was a sight to behold in a white gown with collar cape which hugged her frame in all the right placed. With a red bold lipstick, keeping her hair open, Viktoria looked absolutely stunning at the event as well.
