The 72nd edition of Miss Universe will officially begin soon as the countries from all over the world are crowning/appointing their representatives to compete for the Miss Universe 2023 crown in El Salvador this year. The finale of Miss Universe 2023 will be held on 18th November 2023 in El Salvador where Miss Universe 2022 Rbonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

As the contestants prepare for their international stint, here are our very first Miss Universe 2023 hot picks –

Anntonia Porsild representing Thailand

Anntonia Porsild became a history maker in Thailand as being the first Miss Supranational from Thailand and the first beauty queen to compete in Miss Universe after winning Miss Supranational. Diane Leyre representing France

Diane Leyre was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine to parents André and Sabine Leyre. The stunning beauty graduated with her baccalauréat in economics and social sciences with honors. Mariana Downing representing Dominican Republic

Mariana Downing is 27 years of age and a Dominican-British model and actress. She represented Sánchez Ramírez at the national competition and bested over 20 delegates to win the national crown. Mariana has also worked with charities such as the Jack Brewer Foundation & Habitat for Humanity. Mariana, with her stunning and charming personality, will be another strong contender for the crown.

 

 

Karla Guilfu representing Puerto Rico

Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo, who rose to fame with her stellar performance at Miss Supranational 2021 and then winning Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023, has emerged as another strong contender for the crown. Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo hails from Isla Culebra, Puerto Rico. The stunning beauty is the chief executive officer and director of Comencemos a Sanar, a platform for passion for education, community work, and social justice.

 

 

Melissa Flores representing Mexico

Melissa Flores is 25 years of age and a model and psychology graduate from Michoacán. Melissa’s advocacy is #NoMeLimites (Don't Limit Me) which focuses on raising awareness for prevention and protection against courtship violence. This Mexicana beauty has shown tremendous potential for Miss Universe 2023 crown.

 

 

Michelle Dee representing Philippines

The 28-year-old pageant veteran Michelle Dee finally achieved her dream as she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023. The country, which last won Miss Universe in 2018 under Catriona Gray’s reign, has can definitely sight the crown this year with Michelle’s hard work and determination. Dee is also only the second Filipina to win both the Miss World Philippines and Miss Universe Philippines crowns, after Catriona Gray. Shweta Sharda is 22 years of age and was born in Chandigarh. Raised by a single parent, Sharda moved to Mumbai at the age of 16. Shweta’s journey towards the crown has been a testament to her resilience in the midst of struggles. Shweta is immensely talented and that will definitely be one of her strong suits at the MU pageant this year.

From Miss International to Miss Universe, Madison Kvetlana aims to be a positive and vibrant light in any room. Madison is a woman of passion and adventure. Being a part of the front lines working with 911, it pushed Madison to use her business skills to continue her positive impact on the world. Canada definitely comes strong at Miss Universe this year.
