Miss Universe Australia 2020 was all set to host its coronation in June at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, Melbourne, Victoria. The contestants from all over Australia will vie for the national crown and the opportunity to represent the country at the prestigious stage of Miss Universe 2020. In this edition of Miss Universe Australia, Cities, States, Territories, and Regions of the countries will be represented throughout winning state and city pageants as an all-round casting in the city of Sydney. Miss Universe Australia 2019 Priya Serrao of Victoria will crown her successor at the end of the event.

But recently the Miss Universe Australia organization has announced that the Miss Universe Australia 2020 will be held in the month of October 2020. The decision has been taken due to the on-going pandemic. The organization has revealed that the runway show will be held on 28th October 2020 and the finale event or the coronation ceremony will be held on 30th October 2020.

As of now, 27 delegates from the country including the one wildcard entry have been announced by the organization for the competition. There is only one spot left for the wildcard entry. The gorgeous divas who have been selected have been prepping themselves up for the big finale event along with working on their individual advocacies. All of them are working out, eating healthy, being productive and much more during their stay at their respective home due to the pandemic.

Last year, Priya Serrao from Victoria represented Australia at Miss Universe 2019 and was appreciated for her performance on-stage but unfortunately couldn’t make it to the top positions. She has two university degrees: one in arts and one in law from Melbourne Law School. Serrao works as a policy adviser for the Government of Victoria, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a lawyer in 2019.
