The organization of Miss Universe Australia is all set to host the coronation night for the 2021 national edition as the state finalists appointed from all over the country have begun their journey to compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Australia at Miss Universe 2021. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Australia 2020 Maria Thattil who was also among the Top 10 finalists for Miss Universe 2020.

The organization’s national final trip to the sunny Queensland has recently ended where the aspiring queens had some of the best times with adventurous days at the Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast park and Movie World Australia. The divas had the privilege of working with the most amazing team and sponsors which was a dream of a life time. Apart from all the thrilling activities, the finalists finally got to bond with each other and has a great time.

The opportunities at the national pageant are getting off to a great start already. Tasha Marciano, the curvy model of Italian origin from Western Australia has won the very first of many awards and has been chosen as the Ambassador of the Village Roadshow Theme Park.

Tasha was named the best social media ambassador for Village Roadshow Theme Park and has won a five night stay at Sea World Resort with unlimited theme park entry. Tasha will also have the opportunity to feature in the new Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast slide campaign.

Hailing from Pert, WA, 25 year-old Tasha stands 174 cm tall and works full time in Radio at hit929 & mix94.5 as a Sales & Advertising Coordinator. She also holds a degree in Marketing, Public Relations & Advertising. Addressing the win, Tasha said, “Words can’t describe how excited and grateful I am.”  Tasha also shared how she is thankful for the opportunity to grow and develop her confidence throughout the Miss Universe Australia program.

Marciano says she feels she brings a different diversity to a competition with a stereotyped history. She says, “I express my individuality in many different ways. Still, most evidently, my point of difference within the program would be that I am a size 12 Curve Model and represent body diversity.”

Tasha has also mentioned, “I was a little hesitant to register for Miss Universe Australia in the past, mainly because I'm a Curve Model. I thought I'd give it a go this year as I think the industry is really evolving and we're in a place where we are able to celebrate diversity.”

Tasha is now embarking her journey towards the crown with full speed as a strong contender for the title and an inspiration for many young girls to believe in themselves and be proud of themselves in every shape and size. We are excited to see her on the ramp with other finalists as the grand night approaches.
