At the grand coronation night of Miss Universe Barbados 2018 held on 15th September 2018 at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Center, Meghan Theobalds was crowned the new queen by the outgoing Miss Universe Barbados 2017 Lesley Chapman. Meghan will now represent Barbados in the upcoming Miss Universe 2018.

Standing a whopping 185 cm tall, Meghan was the tallest delegate at this year’s pageant. Meghan has a Bachelor's degree in management and organizational studies, with a specialization in consumer behaviour. The 26-year-old Meghan loves to travel and it is an extensive hobby of hers. She showed all young girls how important it is to have both brains and beauty (internal and external) as a dynamic combo.

Meghan bested eight other contestants to win the national crown with her commendable performance throughout the competition. The other eight contestants who competed at the finale were Terian Reid, Darryn Taylor, Chelsea Roett, Megghan Michael, Semone Shepherd, Racquel Harewood, Danika Haynes and Shari Samuel.

Barbados is yet to win its first-ever Miss Universe crown. Last year, Miss Universe Barbados 2017 Lesley Chapman represented Barbados in Miss Universe 2017 but unfortunately could not win a place in the Top rankings.
