The finale of Miss Universe Brazil 2022 was held on 19th July 2022 in São Paulo where Mia Mamede (Maria Eugênia Mamede) was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Brazil at Miss Universe 2022.
The 26-year-old Mia hails from Espírito Santo and graduated in Audiovisual Journalism and Economics Partner from New York University. Mia speaks Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Mandarin and hosts a program about travel and entertainment broadcast on YouTube.
Top 3 also included Isadora Murta Miss Minas Gerais 2022 and Rebeca Portilho Miss Amazonas 2022. The Top 5 contestants who also competed for the national crown were Luana Lobo Miss Ceará 2022 and Alina Furtado Miss Rio Grande do Sul 2022.
Miss Universe Brazil 2021 Teresa Santos of Ceará crowned Mia Mamede as her successor. Teresa represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2021 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 16. Brazil holds two Miss Universe titles under their belt.
