Miss Russia 2022, the 28th edition of the national pageant, will be held on 25th July 2022 where the representative of Russia will be crowned. Miss Russia 2021 Ralina Arabova will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Miss Russia was not held in 2020 and in 2021 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Alina Sanko and Arabova represented Russia in Miss Universe in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

Currently, Russia has eight Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Oxana Fedorova in 2002; however, she was later dethroned. The most recent one was in 2012 when Elizaveta Golovanova finished in the Top 10.
