Shabree Lanesha Frett crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2020

Miss Universe British Virgin Islands organization held a private sashing ceremony on Sunday, 13th December 2020 at the Coconut Lounge where Shabree Lanesha Frett was crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2020 and will represent British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2020. Shabree succeeds Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2019 Bria Smith.

Shabree Frett was adjudged the first runner-up at Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2019. She also won awards for Miss Photogenic, Best Eveningwear and Best Swimwear at the 2019 edition. Shabree attended Alabama A&M University and was crowned Miss Black & Bold 2018. The 24-year-old stunning beauty has already begun with her preparations to represent her country with sincerity and confidence at the international platform.

Last year, Bria Smith Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2019 competed at Miss Universe 2019 but unfortunately could not place in the Top 20. Nevertheless, she did her country proud with a stellar performance.

Josephina Nunez, Miss British Virgin Islands 2009 was the first Miss British Virgin Islands to return to the pageant after a break in 2002. The First Miss British Virgin Islands to compete at the Miss Universe Pageant was Andria Norman in 1976.
