Miqueal-Symone Williams crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2020

Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 finale night was held yesterday i.e. 12th December 2020 and streamed exclusively on FLOW 1 TV as ten stunning beauties competed for the national crown. At the end of the event finale, Miqueal-Symone Williams was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Jamaica at Miss Universe 2020. She succeeds Miss Universe Jamaica 2019 Iana Tickle Garcia.

Miqueal-Symone Williams was a crowd’s favourite ever since the beginning of the competition. She was a part of our favourite for Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 crown as well. Miqueal is a Pulse International model which has also produced beauty queens such as Sandra Foster and Christine Straw, who won both the Miss Jamaica World and Miss Universe Jamaica titles. The stunning beauty will complete her degree in marketing and psychology at The University of the West Indies, Mona campus in December.

 

 

The newly crowned queen Miqueal-Symone Williams’s court included -

1st Runner-up - Abigail Pinnock

2nd Runner-up - Monique Thomas

Miqueal also took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “I am so honored and humbled to be given this opportunity to represent you! Thank you to every single person who has ever sent me a message or given me a call to encourage me and lend their support. It means the world to know I have a group of people who are behind me for the long run.”

“Thank you to the other 15 contestants of this year’s pageant. You all have shown me the power of sisterhood and I will be forever grateful to be a part of this year’s group of phenomenal women. Thank you to the Miss Universe Jamaica Organizers; Karl Williams, Mark McDermoth and Shane Morgan. Your guidance over the past month and a half has been pivotal to my growth as a woman and a contestant and I have learned so much from all 3 of you”, she added. She also thanked her family for supporting her endlessly.

 

 

The 10 finalists who competed for Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 were Kimberly Dawkins, Monique Thomas, Ashanti Findley, Abigail Pinnock, Briana Russell, Lineisha Davis, Alexia Royal-Eatmon, Shanique Thompson, Miqueal-Symone Williams, Samantha Williams.

Before the Top 10 were announced, seventeen semi-finalists were selected to compete for the national crown which included Kimberly Dawkins; Monique Thomas; Dailia Harvey; Chavelle Kavanaugh; Ashanti Findley; Abigail Pinnock; Lineisha Davis; Nicole Henry; Briana Russell; Kaydean Sterling; Brianna Bryce; Ramonia Wright; Alexia Royal Eatmon; Shanique Thompson; Miqueal-Symone Williams; Samantha Williams; and Kimberley Hudson.
