The special coronation ceremony of Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2022 was held on Saturday, 15th October 2022 Allamanda Estate Villa, Beef Island where Lia Claxton was officially crowned the new queen. She will now represent British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2022.
Lia Claxton is 18 years of age and a model and athlete from Tortola. She stands a whopping 6 feet tall. Not new to the pageant world, she was one of the Top 3 finalists during Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2021. Lia’s hobbies include playing piano, modeling, and track and field.
The official organization took to their official social media as they made the announcement, “Meet our Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2022-2023 Lia R. Claxton. Age:18, Height-6ft, Hobbies: playing piano, modeling & track & field. Lia would like to one day travel the world comfortably and live a healthy lifestyle.”
Lia Claxton succeeds Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2021 Xaria Penn. Penn represented British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2021 but failed to place in the Top 16. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe.
