Cambodian beauty Sotheary Bee who was crowned Miss Cambodia on 14th October 2016 at the Grand Ballroom, Nagaworld Hotel, has been chosen as a representative of Cambodia for Miss Universe 2017. Sotheary will mark Cambodia’s debut at the Miss Universe pageant. Sotheary will be the first Cambodian to take part in Miss Universe contest.
Hailing from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Sotheary is not new to the world of pageant. She was the second runner-up at Super Model International 2015 and was also a contestant at Miss South East Asia 2014. Sotheary won the special award for Miss Elegance and Best Evening Gown at Miss South East Asia 2014. The aim of Miss Cambodia pageant is to be a brand new of a truly national beauty contest in Cambodia and a pioneer Miss Cambodia in new era.
Sotheary Bee is all set to compete for the prestigious title of Miss Universe 2017 pageant. She will compete with 80-100 other stunners from around the world.
