Sarita's passion for the film industry started at a young age after watching Angelina Jolie star in the blockbuster film, Tomb Raider. The movie was popular among Cambodians due to the film's location shooting at the ancient temple ruins in Siem Reap, and Jolie's advocacy for and close relationship to the Cambodian community. At the age of 17, Sarita started competing in beauty pageants and talent competitions which eventually lead to her landing a role as TV Presenter for BBC Media Action's TV series, Love9.

With Sarita's primary passion being acting, she began actively pursuing this interest and won many roles in short films, including Happiness (2015), The Dinner (2016), Kidnap (2017), The Interview (2017), as well as several TV dramas. She has also starred in several feature films: Mind Cage (2016), Love To The Power of Four (2016), and HEX (2017).

In addition to acting, Sarita is also a spokesperson and does modeling and MC assignments for various international brands and companies, such as Swatch, KFC and Emirates Airlines. In 2016, Sarita was awarded with the Youth Champion Award by U.N.F.P.A. Cambodia (United Nations Population Fund) for her advocacy in promoting gender equality, reproductive health rights, and prevention against gender-based violence in Cambodia.

The diva will definitely be a great choice for the title as she is exquisite for that. She is very talented, smart and capable for winning the national title of Miss Universe Cambodia. She will be a strong contender. Her followings and the support she gets from the media and her peers will also help her and give her courage to step out for this amazing part of the journey.
