The Miss Universe Cambodia organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 15th June 2022 at the Bayon TV Steung Meanchey Studio where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national title. At the end of the event, Manita Hang was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 and will represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2022.

Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 Manita Hang’s court includes –

First runner-up – Nisay Heng

Second runner-up – Bonika Heng

Third runner-up – Ratana Sokhavathy

Fourth runner-up – Geklang

The 23 year old Khmer-French beauty was leading as a favorite since the beginning of the competition. Hailing from Phnom Penh, Manita Hang has established herself as a successful model in Burma. She began her schooling at Lyçée Français René Descartes and graduated from CamEd Business School with a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance degree. She also speaks Khmer, French, and English fluently.

With the national competiton, Manita marked her comeback to pageantry as previously she she represented her country at Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016 and placed as the second runner-up. Manita's pageant expertise, mixed ethnicity, and therefore cultural experience, along with her breathtaking beauty, would undoubtedly make her a strong delegate for the international platform.

Miss Universe Cambodia 2021 Ngin Marady represented Cambodia on the Miss Universe stage last year. Despite a strong delegation and a well-received performance throughout the journey, Ngin did not qualify for the semifinals and finished unplaced. This year Manita will represent the country at the 71st Miss Universe platform, scheduled to be held later this year.
