The Miss Universe Cambodia organization is all set to soon crown the queen for this year’s edition as the pageant opened applications for aspiring divas from all over the country till 30th April 2022 at the Cambodia International Model office (CIM) at the Olympia Mall in Phnom Penh. Shortlisted applicants will then be called in for a face-to-face interview.

Another stunning diva who is recently being anticipated to comeback for the national pageant this year is Soriyan Hang, an actress and model, hailing from Phnom Penh. Hang Soriyan stands 167 cm tall and studied Law at Norton University and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Law in 2015.

No stranger to the pageant world, Soriyan competed in Miss Global Cambodia 2018 and with her excellent performance, she placed in the Top 10. Soriyan was also a part of Cambodia’s Next Top Model where she placed in Top 4.

With the years of experience in pageantry as well as modelling, Soriyan will definitely be a strong contender for the national title, if she participates. In 2020, the diva planned to enter the pageant but due to the Covid pandemic she could not fly from Australia to compete. Hang has been a constant favourite to represent the country over the past few years now.

Last year, Miss Universe Cambodia 2021 Ngin Marady represented the country at the international platform. Despite of a strong delegation and a highly appreciated performance throughout the journey, Ngin was unable to qualify as a semifinalist and finished unplaced.
