Steffi Aberasturi rumoured to be appointed Miss Supranational Philippines 2022

After a lot of speculations and anticipation around Steffi Aberasturi’s return for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the diva, who recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Karl Arcenas, had recently confirmed her farewell to pageantry as she intended to pursue her “true desires with new goals and priorities” this year.

In a recent development, rumours have been circling around that Steffi has already been appointed as Miss Supranational Philippines 2022 and will have an early crowning just like what happened with the reigning Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 Dindi Pajares.

With the announcement of the timeline for Miss Supranational 2022 starting from 27th June 2022, there is hardly any time left for the election of a new queen and appointment is probably the best decision. Steffi seems like an ideal contender for the responsibility and to represent Philippines at the international platform.

Steffi is 26-years-old and stands 170 cm tall and has graduated with a degree in Tourism Management from University of San Carlos. She works as an ESL teacher and a professional model as well. Grown up in Liloan, Cebu, Steffi is of Spanish, Australian and Filipino descent.

Steffi is not new to the world of pageantry as she has won various titles such as Sinulog Festival Queen 2011, Miss Campus Femme 2012, etc. She was also the winner of Binibining Cebu 2018-2019. Most recently, she was the second runner-up at the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant.

Over the years, the diva has shown immense dedication and determination to represent Philippines internationally. Beauty pageants have helped Steffi by giving her a sense of direction and a chance for her to share her passion, talent, promote advocacy and people to hear her voice.

If she does get appointed as the new queen, Steffi will definitely prove to be a strong delegation for the country and use the platform to advocate about her advocacy and making a positive change in the society.
