Just as Miss Universe Canada 2019 began this year to crown its new queen, the pageant fanatics welcomed an old face to the competition – Jean de Jesus. The Filipino-Canadian beauty is a pageant veteran who started her journey at the national contest with sincerity and dedication.

Even though Jean did not win any placement at the conclusion of the national contest, she did perform actually well at the competition. The 26-year-old beauty performed with excellence and grace, keeping her head straight throughout. She is a beauty with brains being a financial advisor along with handling her pageant journey with grace.

Not new to the pageantry, Jean first participated in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 but unfortunately could not win any placement at the national contest. She again participated in Miss Earth Philippines 2018 last year where she won everyone’s hearts with her grace and beauty and was awarded the title of Miss Earth Fire Philippines 2018.

From keeping fit for the competition to handling herself with firm dignity and confidence, Jean definitely set an example that age is just a number when it comes to following one’s dreams. Being a mixed heritage diva, Jean has the pleasure of experiencing multiple cultures and traditions that have shaped her into a woman that she is today.
