Laetitia is not new to the pageantry world as she was part of Miss World Canada 2019 where she represented the district of Toronto and was placed at Top 15 at the end of the event finale. She wasn’t placed at the competition but she explains that she learned and grew so much going through the process. It is an amazing experience like no other and she is very grateful that she was able to experience the pageant to the fullest. She has since then worked with various designers, brands, and photographers to earn more experience and finesse her work as a model. She is hard working and determined to represent Canada at international stage. She was also a part of Miss Galaxy Canada where she was adjudged as the first runner-up.

She believes in incorporating mental health, creativity, and diversity into her program. Outside of work, Laetitia loves crafting and connecting with her community. She volunteers her time to provide students with experiences related to dance, charity work, and leadership. She wants to further inspire others to support and invest in our next generation. She has always expressed her gratitude towards the one who have always supported her and the opportunities that came to her along the way as she mentions that with very opportunity, she has learnt something new and unique which would help her in future.

Laetitia mentioned that her journey at Miss Universe Canada 2020 would be filled with hard work, dedication, and a commitment to self-development. The diva has started a campaign online under #KindnessStartsWithMe to open the conversations on being kind to oneself. It is a reminder to celebrate one’s small victories. She stated that “Pageantry may seem like a solo pursuit, but it is actually a team effort. It truly takes a city to crown a queen.” Remembering her journey at Miss World Canada 2019, Laetitia mentioned, “What I learnt with my stint is that winning is in your training and your preparation. So, I asked for advice and feedback, I seeked out criticism, I practiced, practiced, practiced. I volunteered more, did more appearances, networked more with others. I learned to pick out what I could be nervous about and what I should put at the back of my mind. I stood taller and took better care of myself.”

If one stumbles upon her social media, they can find posts which are full of motivation, positivity, and urging everyone to be kind to oneself. With such beautiful soul and face, Laetitia seems like a potential delegate to represent Canada at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She is working on her on-stage walk, body postures and angles and most importantly on her interview skills which is very essential part of any beauty pageants. Most importantly, she wants to have fun, feel confident, and focus on her win during the competition.
