Miss Universe Canada 2020, 18th edition of national pageant, was held on 24th October 2020 at John Bassett Theatre, Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto where mega-favourite Nova Stevens was crowned the new queen. Nova will now represent Canada in Miss Universe Canada 2020. She succeeds Miss Universe Canada 2019 Alyssa Boston for the crown.
Nova Stevens was our favourite for the crown ever since the beginning of the competition. Standing a whopping 183 cm tall, Nova is a Model, Actress, Spokesperson, Mentor and Activist wishing to bring a change for her country and for the people from her culture.

Hailing from Vancouver, Nova is a dynamic, resilient, persistent and believes in the power of faith in being able to change your circumstances. Her life story is so astonishing and brave that anyone would be inspired. Her family fled a brutal civil war in South Sudan and was sent alone to Canada at age 6 to be able to have a better life. She wishes to use her chance at a new life in Canada as a driving factor to be reunited with her parents one day.
During her stay in Canada, Nova finally grew up to be a strong, independent, and brave woman. At the age of 15, Nova received assistance from one of the social organizations in Canada, where this organization aims to help Nova in living her life alone, completing school, etc. and she has recently been active in carrying out humanitarian activities that focus on the physical and mental balance of children. Nova also has hobbies in athletics, basketball, and volleyball. In addition, Nova has also become Malang as a supermodel in New York, Paris, and Milan fashion week.
