Cayman Islands’ Georgina Kerford sets off to Israel for Miss Universe 2021

The 70th edition of Miss Universe pageant, Miss Universe 2021, is all set to be held on 13th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel where Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The delegates are in the last leg of their preparations and have started to leave for the host country, one of the early contestants to depart for the middle eastern country is Georgina Kerford of Cayman Islands. The queen flew off to Israel from Owen Roberts International Airport, George Town, Cayman Islands on 24th November, 2021.

“This morning, our Caymanian queen Georgina Kerford left for Eilat, Israel to take part in the 70th Miss Universe Competition. We are wishing her the best of luck, safe travels and success during the competition which takes place Sunday. Wishing you a safe and wonderful experience, Georgina! We believe in you,” the organization officially announced her departure on social media.

 

 

“Miss Cayman Islands Universe Georgina Kerford was surrounded by family, friends, Government officials and committee members this morning as she departed for Israel. Good luck Georgina as you represent the Cayman Islands,” the statement further read.

Georgina is the Student Council president at her school and has also earned a lifetime scholarship with Ms. Jackie’s School of Dance. She is currently pursuing a degree at the University College of the Cayman Islands in education. The 18-year-old has been training as a dancer for past 15 years and has studied over 10 styles of dance.

Georgina is the youngest Miss Universe Cayman Islands in the last three decades and accurately depicts Cayman Islands’ beauty. A team player and a compassionate person, Kerford is always looking for experience and a challenge in any aspect to broaden her knowledge. The stunning beauty loves to work for her community and volunteer at the Humane society.
