Miss Universe organization is returning with its 70th edition after just a few months of successfully conducting the previous edition for Miss Universe 2020. Since the pageant was postponed last year, the organization will be crowning the next Miss Universe within the same year. Miss Universe 2021 is speculated to be scheduled in December in Costa Rica where over 70 stunning divas represent their countries and fight for the coveted crown.
With the crowning of the next beauty queen of the Universe approaching closer with every passing day, organizations of countries around the world have begun their search of the respective delegates. Pageant followers and experts have already come up with wishlists including some of the top names of the pageant industries. Many of the best names have been circling around for the title of Miss Universe Colombia 2021.
With Laura Olascuaga’s amazing delegacy at the recent edition, the organization of Miss Universe Columbia will be on the search for an equally potential candidate for the title of Miss Universe Columbia 2021, if not better. One of the many names that have been one of the favourites is none other than one of the most popular queens in the country, Maria Alejandra Lopez Perez.
There is much anticipation from Mari´a to re-enter for Miss Universe Columbia 2021 since she auditioned last year but resigned due to personal reason. Her fans and pageant followers are ecstatic for Mari´a’s rumored participation in the pageant this year.
Mari´a is 26-years-old and stands 176cm tall and has studied Industrial Engineering from University Sergio Arboleda in Colombia. She is fnd of mathematics and Colombian music and also works as a professional model. Interestingly, Mari´a’s mother was also a beauty queen in the 90s and she has seemed to inherit the same skills through her genes.
Apart from being an aspirant at the national competition last year, Mari´a has represented the province of Risaralda at Miss Colombia 2013 where she was adjudged as the second runner-up and later represented Colombia at Reina. Hispanoamericana 2013 where she was crowned as the new queen at the end of the event finale.
The diva also participated at Miss Mundo Colombia 2015 where she was crowned as the queen and earned an opportunity to represent Colombia at Miss World 2015 stage. Even though Mari´a was highly appreciated for her performance on Miss World 2015 stage she was unfortunately not placed at the end of the event finale but she surely made a name for herself in the beauty pageant world and has garnered a massive popularity at the end of the event finale.
Even though she could not be a part of the title’s run last year, she has gained a lot of intensive knowledge about beauty pageants and has equally worked on herself to be ready to represent Colombia at the Miss Universe stage. Her experiences and preparations from over the years can be her unique strength at the competition.
