Puteri Indonesia 2018 is ready to have a rocking coronation night this year with the presence of three international queens at the event.
Yes, this time around the reigning Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will touch down Jakarta in the month of March along with Miss Supranational 2017 Jenny Kim of Korea to grace the stage of Puteri Indonesia 2018 coronation ceremony which will take place on 9th March 2018.
Along with them, Indonesia’s very own international fame Miss International 2017 Kevin Lilliana will also be there to give the 39 competing candidates a word of encouragement. These queens will also be crowning the new queens at the ceremony for the titles of Miss Universe Indonesia 2018, Miss International Indonesia 2018 and Miss Supranational Indonesia 2018.
The reigning queens Miss Universe Indonesia 2017 Bunga Jelitha Ibrani, Miss Supranational Indonesia 2017 Karina Nadila Niab and Miss Grand Indonesia 2017 Dea Goesti Rizkita Koswara will, of course, be there to crown their successors.
Indonesia has had quite an amazing run in the international pageants over the years. In Miss Universe pageant, it has placed 5 times in semi-finals while in Miss World it has placed 7 times, which includes being 2nd runner-up in 2015 and 2016, with the representation of Natasha Mannuela Halim and Maria Harfanti respectively. If we talk about Miss International pageant, the current Miss International 2017 is Kevin Lilliana from Indonesia. Also, Felicia Hwang was 2nd runner-up of Miss International 2016.
With such a good record in the international pageant arena, Indonesia is ready to crown the new queens really soon who will make the country proud!
