The splendid finale of Miss Universe Germany 2016 concluded with the crowning of 24 years old Johanna Acs. Johanna will now represent Germany at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. Johanna is a smart and open minded girl, with an envious figure and a waist to die for Johanna is a complete package.

Standing tall at an astounding height of 178cm, this 24 years old beauty queen is a student of Textile and Clothing Management and has travelled over 50 countries worldwide. Mostly backpacking she had the chance to get deep insights into different cultures around the world. Johanna also learned about the negative side effects of globalization, which led her to the subject of her master thesis: ‘Exploitation in the fashion industry’.

Her Liberal minded attitude and her social commitment are the things that won over the hearts of the judges. According to the Organisation, a true Miss Universe Germany should not only be beautiful but should also be someone who is committed to her social responsibility.
At the same pageant, 23 years old Doresa Halilaj was titled first runner-up. Doresa who is a nurse with Albanian roots works in the nursing ward of a trauma centre. 23 years old Sabine Graf was adjudged second runner-up. Sabine is a student of physics with major in astrophysics and also business administration.
1952-1961 has been the honeymoon period for Germany at the Miss Universe pageant. In 1952 Renate Hoy the first German delegate at Miss Universe won fourth Runner Up where as Gerti Daub won fourth Runner-Up & Miss Photogenic at the 1957 edition. The country won back to back Third Runner Up crown in 1954 -1955. Marina Orschel won the First Runner Up at Miss Universe 1956. Marlene Schmidt won the Miss Universe title in the year 1961.
