27 Oct 2021 | Camilla Suarez

The Miss Universe Germany organization has officially announced the appointment of Hananh Seifer as Miss Universe Germany 2021 as she will now be representing the country at the upcoming Miss Universe 2021. Hannah succeeds Miss Universe Germany 2019 Miriam Rautert to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant.

Hannah Seifer is 19 years old and lives in Düsseldorf. Her father is German and her mother Colombian. She is fluent in German, Spanish and English. She is currently training to be an actor and would like to study journalism later - she likes to travel and is very animal-friendly.

After her appointment, Hannah took to her social to share, “I feel grateful and proud to be in my home country Miss Universe to represent. For me, a childhood dream is coming true and I promise you to do my best. I will represent Germany with honors this year. Thanks to all the people who have supported me on my way.”

She thanked the Miss Universe Germany organization and National Director Natalie Ackermann for their belief and the opportunity. “We will all pull together to get the best possible results in December. I look forward to working with you and to this wonderful New Year with you. We will prepare well and consciously. We are Germany! Israel here we come!”

Earlier this year, for the first time in the history of Miss Universe beauty pageant, Germany did not send their representative to Miss Universe 2020 due to the pandemic outbreak in the country. This year, Hannah will head to the 70th Miss Universe, i.e., Miss Universe 2021, scheduled to be held in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel, where Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
