MALZ Promotions, under the leadership of Menaye Donkor Muntari officially announced their decision to renounce their license for Miss Universe Ghana through their official social media. Multiple countries have seen the present organization renouncing their license in response to the new and sudden implementation of MUO business model.

MALZ Promotions took the decision due to ‘the new and sudden implementation of the Miss Universe Organization Business Model under the JKN Global Group's leadership’. According to the national organization, it does not align with MALZ Promotions' brand objectives.

"MALZ Promotions regrets any inconveniences that their decision may cause to fans and enthusiasts and wishes the Miss Universe Organization the very best in their future endeavors. Miss Universe Organization's dedication to WOMEN EMPOWERMENT is greatly appreciated and MALZ Promotions is thankful for their help to highlight the unique qualities of our country, Ghana, in the global arena”, they said in an official statement released on Friday.

The last winner crowned by the organization was Miss Universe Ghana 2022 Engracia Mofuman who recently represented Ghana at Miss Universe 2022 but unfortunately remained unplaced. It is still undecided who will take over Ghana’s license to crown the next representative to Miss Universe 2023.
