The finale of Miss Universe Great Britain 2022 was held on 9th July 2022 at the Riverfront Arts Centre in Newport, Wales where Noky Simbani was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Great Britain at Miss Universe 2022. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Great Britain 2021 Emma Collingridge.

Personal Background
Noky Simbani hails from Zimbabwe. She currently lives in Derby, Derbyshire, East Midlands, England. In 2001, she moved from Zimbabwe to England with her parents and her younger sister. Noky is 25 years of age who briefly worked as an engineer but is now working as a Chartered commercial banker.
Educational Qualifications
From 2008 to 2013, Noky attended Littleover Community School in Derby. After that, until 2015, she attended Littleover Community School Sixth Form in Derby. In 2020, she attended the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemical engineering.
From 2020 to 2022, she attended The Chartered Banker Institute in Edinburgh, Scotland where she earned her advanced diploma in banking and leadership in a digital age and commercial banking.
Pageant Experience
Not new to the pageantry, Noky is a cross over beauty who has already proven her mettle at an international platform. Noky was adjudged Miss Grand England 2017 and on 25th October 2017, she represented England at Miss Grand International 2017 and competed against 76 other candidates at the Vinpearl Phú Qu?c Casino in Phú Qu?c, Vietnam. However, she remained unplaced.
Advocacy and Social Responsibility
Outside of her regular work, Noky speaks in panel events alongside senior leaders, raising awareness for the impact of unconscious bias and how it can be combated through inclusive cultures. She also volunteers as a careers ambassador, supporting young people across Great Britain to develop the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
Professional Career
In 2016, Noky was an intern at Infrastructure Process Engineering in Bristol, England. After that, from 2018 to 2019, she worked as a profitability engineer intern at ExxonMobil in Southampton, Hampshire, South-East England, England. From September 2020 to March 2021, she worked for the capital and pricing advisory of NatWest Group in Manchester, England. In February 2021, she became the NatWest Group’s Graduate Candidate Engagement Council chair.

Noky Simbani, on winning Miss Universe Great Britain 2022, exclaimed, “I am Miss Universe Great Britain 2022. I am in complete and utter shock and I have no idea when this feeling will end. I cannot express the level of gratitude I have towards everyone who’s supported me in the lead up to and during this competition.”
