Miss Universe Great Britain 2022 was held on 9th July 2022 at the Riverfront Arts Centre in Newport, Wales where Noky Simbani was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Great Britain at Miss Universe 2022. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Great Britain 2021 Emma Collingridge.

Noky is 25 years of age who graduated from the University of Birmingham with a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and briefly worked as an engineer. She is now a Chartered commercial banker, driving enterprise growth initiatives to support businesses across the country. Not new to the pageantry, Noky was previously Miss Grand England 2017 and represented England at the Miss Grand International 2017.

Noky also loves to bake and previously ran her own celebration cake business. Taking care of her social responsibilities, Noky is a diversity and inclusion ambassador and a careers ambassador, sharing her career journey with young people across the country and supporting them to develop the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.

She is also a BAME ambassador for SmartWorks, a charity who provide personal styling, clothing and coaching for unemployed women looking to reenter the workplace. Noky strives to empower women to reach their full potential in the workplace. She recently launched an online platform which aims to celebrate the achievements of women who are thriving across a range of careers.

Also at the event finale, Anglee Kumar was adjudged the first runner-up while Paida was adjudged as the second runner-up. Top 5 also included Lauren Parkinson and Charlotte Kamale. Congratulations.
