Miss Universe Guatemala Organisation has unveiled its contestants for the year 2017. The coronation night of Miss Universe Guatemala 2017 is scheduled to be held on 23rd July 2017 and the winner will represent Guatemala at Miss Universe 2017 pageant. 18 finalists have been shortlisted to compete for the title this year.

The contestants are busy attending various events and activities. The organization has introduced the public voting system this year, wherein one finalist can qualify to the finals via public voting. Also, one of the lucky voters will get the opportunity to accompany the new Miss Universe Guatemala 2017 to experience the Miss Universe 2017 pageant.

The reigning Miss Universe Guatemala is Virginia Argueta, and at the conclusion of the finale Virginia will pass on her crown to her successor.
