The 71st edition of the Miss Universe pageant, i.e., Miss Universe 2022 is scheduled to be held later this year where delegates from all over the world will compete for the coveted crown. At the end of the event, the reigning Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor. The organization has also directed national directors all over the world to elect their representatives for the competition by 12th September 2022.

While the national organizations are beginning to gear up for this year’s edition, Guatemalan fans are anticipating one diva for the national title and as the country’s representative. She is none other than, Miss Grand International 2020 second runner-up Ivana Batchelor.

21 years-old Ivana 182 cm tall and works as a translator for English and Spanish languages; she is also a pianist and professional dancer. She is highly inspired by the art, culture, and traditions of her country and takes immense pride in using the international platforms to promote it along with carrying out her mission to spread kindness.

The diva strongly feels that little acts of kindness can help in making someone’s day better and help them get through anything. She is dedicated to make a mark for her country through pageantry and make the people of Guatemala proud by performing her best internationally. Batchelor is also the co-founder of IB Model Agency, which manages and trains models.

The diva emerged as one of the favourites and strong candidate for the title of Miss Grand International 2020 and managed to secure the title of the second runner-up, making her country proud. The diva is yet again coming across as a favourite and an ideal choice to represent the country at the Miss Universe title.

Last year, Dannia Guevara Morfin represented Guatemala at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant but remained unplaced at the end of the event. If she is appointed for the delegation, Guatemala will definitely have a high chance to pioneer a win for the Miss Universe crown.
