Adline Castelino aiming to win third Miss Universe crown for India

The 69th edition of Miss Universe i.e., Miss Universe 2020 is all set to be held on 16th May 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The preliminary competition is scheduled to take place on 13th May 2021.

Adline Castelino is representing India at Miss Universe 2020 and is one of the favorites for the title as she has managed to make a strong impression on the audience across the world with her strong, confident, and attractive personality. Adline is in Miami now and is preparing herself for the final night which is just a few days away.

 

 

Talking about her preparations for the pageant, the diva shared that she trained under some of the extremely talented and experienced professionals from the glamour and grooming industry to make an impactful presence at the audience and judges during the competition and hopefully bring the third Miss Universe crown to India. In a recent interview, the beauty queen shared about her preparation and how she is planning to win the crown and make the country proud.

Adline shared that she trained under Sabira Merchant for her communication and speaking skills whereas Sanjeev Datta helped her with her sentence formation, expressions, and speech delivery, and Alesia Raut trained the diva with her walk. To keep her body fit and in shape, Adline trained under Samir Purohit and Namrata Purohit with Pilates. Since the entire world went under a complete lockdown as soon as the pandemic hit, the preparations for Miss Universe 2020 also took a halt for Adline but as soon as the lockdown lifted, she got back with the experts to start the preparations again and learned hair and makeup under Clint Fernandes and Pooja Desai after which the beauty queen mentioned that the two helped her to be more confident and assured about herself with makeup and hair.

 

 

The Indian beauty also shared that since the pageant got postponed to 2021, the divas had a lot of time to learn about various things that would help during the pageant or question and answer round and work on themselves before the pageant begins. Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta also acted as a mentor to the divas at Miss Diva 2020 so, Adline in a way learned from the beauty queen herself.

Talking about her wardrobe at the beauty competition, the beauty queen shared that her wardrobe consists of outfits that have been specially designed and curated for her which has an interesting mix of Indian fabrics and western silhouettes, embodying her traditionally rooted yet contemporary personality. The diva is yet to showcase her finale gown but mentioned that it has been specially curated by Falguni and Shane Peacock and for her National Costume, it is designed by Shravan Kkummar, who is a master of handloom heritage has created a masterpiece to embody the quintessential Indian woman. Unlike her pageant sisters, Adline has not showcased her National Costume and final evening gown yet.

 

 

The stunning and empowered beauty queen expresses her immense gratitude to lead pageant stylist Bharat Gupta who had been a part of her journey since her National crowning. “Understanding my aesthetic and matching it to the global pageant requirement, he has meticulously styled and curated my wardrobe with designers from different cities across the country so that I can truly represent India even though the outfits that I wear," she added.

Adline Castelino is one of the strongest contenders for the title and is expected to secure a high position in the competition. She is impressive and persuasive with her thoughts and opinions along with carrying herself well on-stage. She has been regarded as one of the favorites for the crown almost at every pageant fanatics’ list. With her leadership qualities, courage, and confidence Miss Universe India 2020 Adline Castelino looks all set for her big run at the Miss Universe 2020.
