All beauty pageant fans will have in their memories the two beauties from Ireland - Rozanna Purcell and Rosanna Davison.

Rozanna Purcell, who won Miss Universe Ireland 2010 and represented Ireland at Miss Universe 2010 in USA, managed a Top 10 placement in the finale. Rosanna Davison, who was crowned Miss Ireland 2003, went on to be crowned the Miss World 2003 at the finale held in Sanya, China.

Obviously, Ireland has lots of potential talent when it comes to finding the right talent and beauty to successfully compete in Miss Universe pageant. Though Ireland has, so far, never won any Miss Universe title but beauties like Rozanna Purcell (Miss Universe 2010 Top 10), Andrea Roche (Miss Universe 1998 Top 10), Olivia Marie Tracey (Miss Universe 1985 Top 10), Roberta Brown (Miss Universe 1983 Top 3), Marlene Margaret McKeown (Miss Universe 1963 Top 3) etc have all made their mark when competing in their respective pageants.

As Miss Universe Ireland director Brittany Mason rightly said: “I think there’s a lot of talent in Ireland. Some of it hasn’t even been discovered yet."

Well, looking at the profiles of contestants this year, it seems that Brittany has put in a lot of work in selecting the thirty finalists to compete for the title of Miss Universe Ireland 2017, and the girls are gorgeous!

The finalists for Miss Universe Ireland 2017 are Hayleigh O'Driscoll, Hannah Hawkshaw, Andrea Rooney, Cailín Áine Ní Toibín, Kelly Horrigan, Alise Murniece, Jasmine Gerhardt, Angela Ferris, Róisín Gallagher, Hope Hickey, Simone Crawford, Megan O'Kane, Aine May Kennedy, Sophie Crinnion, Jill Connolly, Caoimhe O'Dwyer, Julieann McStravick, Jessica Palmer, Aoife McGrane, Sarah Kinsella, Sinéad Clifford, Sophie Amelia Bahl, Jade O'Neill, Leah Headon, Nuala Yazbeck, Leanne Gray, Mariam, Kayleigh Hone, and Elmo Gilbot.

One of these beauties will be crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2017 at the finale of the pageant to be held on August 31' 2017 at the Mansion House, Dublin. Any guesses, who will she be?
