Davina Bennett was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2017 at the grand finale held on 26th August 2017 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. Isabel Dalley, the last year’s titleholder, crowned her successor, Davina, at the conclusion of the magnificent event and also gave her the best wishes for future.
Davina Bennett is 21 years of age and stands tall at 175 cm. She has received appreciation for doing some great work in the Jamaican modeling industry. With this victory, Davina has earned the opportunity to represent Jamaica in the 66th edition of Miss Universe pageant to be held later this year.
At the same event, Jennae Jackson was announced as the first runner up, Sara-Jade Kow finished as the second runner up, while Jodiann Harper and Adrianna Bryan were placed fourth and fifth respectively.
No beauty queen from Jamaica has ever been able to acquire the Miss Universe title, till date. Let us see if Davina Bennett makes history by becoming the first representative of Jamaica to win the dazzling Miss Universe crown this year.
