Caterina Di Fuccia crowned Miss Universe Italy 2021

Miss Universe Italy organization held the finale of the 2021 edition on 26th September 2021 where Caterina Di Fuccia representing Lazio won the Miss Universe Italy 2021 crown and became the official representative of Italy at Miss Universe 2021.



The 23-year-old Caterina is an Italian teacher, model, dancer, runway coach who was born in Marcianise, Caserta, Campania. She went to Liceo Linguistico G.B. Novelli in Marcianise. In 2016, she represented Campania at Miss Mondo Italia 2016 and failed to land in the Top 15. She competed at Miss Campania 2016 and won the Miss Rocchetta Bellezza Campania 2016 title.

In 2019, she was crowned Miss Rocchetta Bellezza Campania 2019 in Jesolo, Venice. She represented Campania at Miss Italia 2019 and finished in the Top 10. While working as a primary school teacher in Lazio, Italy, she competed at Miss Universe Lazio 2021 and won the crown to win the opportunity to represent Lazio at Miss Universe Italy 2021.



In 2020, Miss Universe Italy 2020 represented her country at Miss Universe 2020 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 20. Italy is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe pageant. Caterina Di Fuccia will represent Italy in Miss Universe 2020 which is all set to be held in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel. Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
