Aisha Harumi Tochigi crowned Miss Universe Japan 2020

The organization of Miss Universe Japan hosted the coronation event of Miss Universe Japan 2020 just a few minutes ago at Yamano Hall, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan where Aisha Harumi Tochigi was crowned as the new Miss Universe Japan 2020 and will be representing Japan at Miss Universe 2020. Miss Universe Japan 2019 Ako Kamo crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.

Aisha is of Ghanaian-Japanese heritage who has been volunteering in both countries for women’s rights along with working for the children in the community. She is not new to the world of pageantry as she had been a part of Miss Universe Japan 2019 where she was placed at the top 5. She believes with experience at Miss Universe Japan 2019, she has learnt how to be confident and assured with oneself which is one of the reason why she was able to perform exceptionally well at the beauty pageant.

Third Runner-up: Kilala Watanabe

Aisha has shown immense dedication and determination towards winning the title and representing Japan at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She is grateful for her experiences till now which has helped her to shape up herself better as a model and as a person. She had explained on her social media, “Last year I couldn't take the crown. But I still have my dreams that I want it to be real and this year is the year for me.”

The diva is determined and focused towards performing her best at the competition and making the people of Japan proud. She is beautiful, strong, and assured with her preparations for the final show. She is going to be one of the strongest contenders at the Miss Universe 2020 stage.

Last year Ako Kamo represented Japan at Miss Universe 2019 stage where she was highly appreciated for her strong performance but unfortunately wasn’t placed at the end of the event finale.
