Kyrgyzstan is all set to make a comeback at the Miss Universe pageant scheduled to held later this year. Miss Universe 2018 would officially be the year that Kyrgyzstan could take the crown home, as the latest queen crowned Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2018 is Begimay Karybekova.
Begimay has been present in the pageantry, and modeling circle for quite some time now, and also held the title of Miss World Kyrgyzstan 2017.

Begimay Karybekova was a 2nd year student of the IUK, and was studying at the Faculty of International Relations, the direction of diplomacy when she won Miss World Kyrgyzstan 2017. Begimai had also worked with global modeling agencies in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. But, her dreams of representing Kyrgyzstan at an ainternational pageant came crashing down when the CGhinese officials refused her a visa for the Miss World 2017 competitions in Sanya, China.
A heartbroken Begimay had written on her Instagram;
"I am the owner of the official title" Miss Kyrgyzstan 2017"and how the face of the country was declared for the international beauty contest" Miss World - 2017", which this year will be held in Sanya (China) .We prepared for this contest for a year , spending about 20 thousand dollars, but unfortunately at the last moment the Chinese side refuses to issue a visa, I do not even know where to turn and how to solve this problem! All my plans, hopes and dreams have collapsed like a house of cards."

Begimay was not new to the world of pageantry even when she won Miss World Kyrgyzstan 2017, and had previously won Grand Prix in Miss Tourism Eurasia. She has also represented the country at the Top Model Of The World 2016, and also earned the right to compete at Miss Intercontinental 2016 pageant. Her experience of pageantry will surely come handy while competing at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. With proper grooming and training, Begimay might succeed in bringing good placement for the country at the Miss Universe pageant.
