Miss Universe organization, through their Instagram stories, announced Akylai Kalberdieva as Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2023 and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2023.
Akylai Kalberdieva was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan 2023 at the finals held on Tuesday, 3rd October 2023 in Bishkek. Akylai bested twenty other contestants to win the national crown.
Akylai succeeds last year’s winner Altynai Botoyarova and will go on to represent Kyrgyzstan at Miss Universe 2023 which will be held in El Salvador. However, Miss Kyrgyzstan organization is yet to make a formal announcement.
The fashion model, on winning the national crown, Akylai expressed her feelings in a post captioned, “Miss Kyrgyzstan 2023. My family is my biggest, most important support and support! I am very grateful to everyone who was with me until the end and believed in me!”
Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
