At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Universe Laos 2019 held on 24th August 2019 at the Royal Palace Hotel, Vientiane, Vichitta Phonevilay was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Laos in Miss Universe 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Laos 2018 On-anong Homsombath.
Vichitta is a 23-year-old seasoned model. She stands 175 cm tall and performed with excellence and grace at the national competition. She hails from Paksane, Bolikhamxai, Laos and currently resides in Vientiane, Laos. The gorgeous beauty was a part of our Top 10 hot picks competing for the national crown as well.
Also at the finale, Miss International Laos 2019 was also crowned who was none other than contestant No 27. She will now represent Laos in Miss International 2019 to be held in Tokyo, Japan.

Last year, Miss Universe Laos 2018 On-anong Homsombath represented her country in Miss Universe 2018 but unfortunately failed to win a spot in the finale. Laos is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe pageant.
