Mexicana Universal Quintana Roo 2017 Paola Gargari replaced by Eyra Leines

On 12th March 2018 where Paola Gargari was crowned as the new queen when Mexicana Universal Quintana Roo 2017 held its grand finale. She was all set to represent her region at Mexicana Universal 2018 when she had to, unfortunately, withdraw from the competition due to personal reasons.

She has been replaced by Eyra Daniela Leines Velasco, who was a contestant for Mexicana Universal Quintana Roo 2017.

Both Mexicana Universal Organization and the Mexicana Universal Quintana Roo’s Official pages announced the withdrawal of Paola and appointment of Eyra for the crown.

They said: Debido a cuestiones personales Paola Gargari Rios quien ganara la corona a Mexicana Universal Quintana Roo ha decidido retirarse del certamen de Mexicana Universal, por lo que Eyra Daniela Leines Velasco quien obtuvo el lugar de suplente ha tomado la corona para representar a Quintana Roo. Mucha suerte en la nacional y le deseamos todo el éxito del mundo.

It loosely translates to Due to personal issues Paola Gregori Rios who won the crown to Mexican Universal Quintana Roo has decided to withdraw from the universal Mexicana competition, so eyra Daniela Leines Velasco who got the alternate place has taken the crown to represent Quintana Roo. Good luck in the national and we wish you all the success of the world.

Pamela Carbajo, Michel Domínguez, Paola Gargari, Casandra Grijalva, Vanessa Curí, Eyra Leinez, María Rodríguez, Montserrat Sánchez and Fernanda Soza were the contestants of Mexicana Universal Quintana Roo 2017.

Michel Dominguez, Eyra Leines and  Paola Gargaris stood as the Top 3 on the night of the pageant when Paola was crowned, and Eyra was named the 1st  runner-up.

The winner of Mexicana Universal 2018 will get the opportunity to represent her country at Miss Universe 2018 where Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will crown her successor.
