The organization of Miss Universe Myanmar will host the coronation ceremony of Miss Universe Myanmar 2020 soon, where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2020. Swe Zin Htet Miss Universe Myanmar 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event.

One of the delegates who has caught our attention for the title is Han Lay (Thaw Nandar Aung) who has performed exceptionally well at the competition and seems like an ideal candidate to represent Myanmar at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She is representing Myawaddy at the competition and has emerged as one of the strongest contenders for the title.

Han is 20-years-old and has graduated from University of Yangon and has emerged as one of the strongest contenders for the title. She is strong, confident, and determined towards winning the title and represent Myanmar at Miss Universe 2020 stage.

On asking about, ‘how do you prove that women can keep abreast as equal as men in every field?’, she answered that, “I think that I don’t acutely need to prove that women can keep abreast with men because Daw Aung San Sukyi, our mother leader has already proved that how powerful we women are.” She is very determined to be her real self and perform her best competition in order to win the title.

Han wants to be a confident beautiful woman in the society who can give a hand in non-profit organizations to help the people. She wants to be a positive and an impactful role model for women across the world and make some difference in their lives. She also talks about body positivity which she believes does not come from trying to achieve the perfect body, it comes from embracing the one you’ve already got.

The diva was asked, “What would you do if you have the ability to do anything that can improve women’s levels in your country?”, to which she answered, “Women in the poorest parts of my country have to dedicate their lives to the family business instead of will to getting an education. Education is very important for a woman because it reflects what we believe, ‘Women Power’. Even if I cannot be supported for them, I want to use my voice through this Miss Universe platform to empower them and I want to make to get opportunities for our women in my country Myanmar.”

She is very optimistic towards life and believes that if one works hard for what they want, they will get it eventually. She wants to make a good impression on the judges as well as the audience to win the title and with her confidence and aura, she is surly one of the strongest contenders.
