The organization of Miss Universe Ukraine has crowned Liza Yastremskaya as the new Miss Universe Ukraine 2020 and she becomes an official representative of Ukraine for Miss Universe 2020 stage. She has succeeded Miss Universe Ukraine 2019 Zaporizhia Anastasia Subbota for the title. The announcement was done via Miss Universe Ukraine’s official social media page.

Liza is 27-years-old and has graduated with a degree in Human Marketing Resources and Management and has worked as a successful model. She has studied in the school of philosophy and meditation. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English, French, and is working on her German. She is very excited to take over the crown duties of Miss Universe Ukraine 2020 and start preparing for the beauty competition.

The diva is not new to the world of pageantry but was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Universe Ukraine 2019 and due to the pandemic scare in the world, the organization decided to not hold the pageant for Miss Universe Ukraine 2020 and crowned the gorgeous diva as the official representative. After being crowned, Liza took to her social media and thanked the organization for believing in her and trusting her with the crown. Liza started working as a professional model after graduating from modelling school, she started shooting for magazines, shows and working with designers, advertising, and working on television.

Liza also mentioned, “There is a lot of work ahead. Responsibility to the country. New friends and opportunities. And I am looking forward to this new path in my destiny.” She added that she has dreamt of this day when she was a little girl and now when it’s all happening, she feels extremely grateful for the opportunity and would perform her best at the competition. The diva started her own business during the pandemic and is proud of the way it has turned out for her.

Talking about her business she mentioned, “Like any person who creates something with love, I dream that my brand, like my child, would be in demand and loved. Became world famous. It was sold in different parts of the world. And every day I take small steps in this direction. I dream of dressing Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Jennifer Lopez and others.”

The diva is constantly striving for excellence and looking for ways of self-realization. After being adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Universe Ukraine 2019, she explained, “If a person's dreams come true, then this is included in his life plans. Dream boldly and daringly and raise the bar of possibilities!”

Liza is very grateful and feels honoured to be able to carry the crown over her head and has assured that she will perform her best at the competition. She is strong, determined, and focused towards winning and will start preparing for the competition. She cultivates feminine qualities in herself, a kind attitude to people, tenderness, and mercy. She will be a strong contender for the title of Miss Universe 2020.
