Miss Nederland 2018 also known as Miss Universe Netherlands 2018 has commenced with the announcement of the twelve finalists slated to compete in the finale of the beauty pageant. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Netherlands 2017 - Nicky Opheij, and will represent Netherland in Miss Universe 2018 pageant to be held later this year.
After the applications for Miss Nederland 2018 were screened, around 80 girls were invited for the casting. After the preliminary auditions, 25 semi-finalists were selected and the list was then pruned to 12 finalists who will now have the chance to wear the Miss Universe Netherlands 2018 crown at the finale, date and venue for which are yet to be announced.
