The splendid finale of Señorita Panama 2017 held last night at the Amador Convention Center, Panama concluded with the crowning of Laura Sofia De Sanctis from Contadora as the Miss Universe Panama 2017 (Miss Universo Panama 2017). Laura, a student of social communication, is just 20 years of age and stands tall at 183 cm. She was amongst our Top 7 favourites to win the title.

Laura will now represent Panama in Miss Universe 2017 to be held later this year. She succeeds the gorgeous outgoing queen, Keity Drennan, who successfully represented Panama in Miss Universe 2016 managing to place in Top 13 at the finale held in Manila, Philippines.
