Just as the Red-Carpet Presentation was held on 14th February 2020 for Miss Universe Philippines 2020, the first edition of the national pageant, 52 stunning divas were unveiled who will now give a strong competition to each other to win the chance to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020. Jan Alexis Elcano is confirmed as the official delegate of Batanes province vying for the crown. She is an adorable beauty hailing from Batanes who is fond of sketching, traveling and is extremely photophilic.

Jan possesses an enchanting personality with captivating eyes. Alexis has a photogenic face and she often participates in various small and big contests and even wins them. Recently, she participated in Maybelline’s top model contest where she had to try the new edition of the brand’s lipsticks. She slayed in the each and every shade of the lip colour and made the audience fall in love with her smile.  Alexis is not a fresher in the world of pageantry as she began her career by participating in Miss Batanes 2019 and was crowned as the first runner up at the end of the show.

Painting is Jan’s favorite thing to do. Whatever the schedule may be, she always takes some time to sketch and paint what she feels. She also loves to write and often writes poems as she demonstrates what she feels and wants people to be. She wants women and men around the world to love and embrace themselves as they are. It will be thrilling to watch this gorgeous girl from Batanes strive for the crown and be the pride of her province.

The finale of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is scheduled to be held on 3rd May 2020 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Metro Manila where Gazini Ganados Miss Universe Philippines 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The pageant is inspired by Miss Universe's slogan ‘Confidently Beautiful’ and henceforth has adopted the theme ‘Confident, beautiful, and empowered Filipinas.’
