It was recently announced that Sandra Raymundo Lemonon has submitted her application for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 on 30th January 2020 in Manila. Sandra was one of the 10 girls who submitted their application at the Empire Studios in Uptown Mall BGC, Taguig, Manila. She wore a beautiful bright red pant suit on her way to the studios for submitting the application of her new journey. She announced her comeback with a social media post, ‘Hello Universe, Team Lemonades is back”, she quoted.
Sandra Lemonon is 25-years-old and stands 175cm tall. She has graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Escola Portuguesa de Macao in Macau, China and now works as a part time model and is a baker by profession.
Sandra Lemonon is not new to the pageantry world as she participated in Miss World Philippines 2016 and was placed as the fourth runner-up. The diva tried her luck at Binibining Pilipinas 2018 where she was placed at Top 15. She is close friends with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and gained attention due to her response at the Binibining Pilipinas 2018’s Question and Answer round. She was asked by judge Edgar Saavedra of her opinion regarding the ongoing “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure program of the government. Sandra surprised the audience when she said, “Actually you know what, I studied so much for this Q&A, but sadly that’s something that I don’t know really much about. But at least I’m here trying to answer a good question. Thank you.” Her honesty won many hearts that night.
Sandra strongly believes that kindness is a universal language and being kind to one another is the first step to respecting and understanding each other’s difference. She wants to share to everyone that true beauty comes from the heart. She also said that being kind in learning to accept diversity and inclusivity is a way that we can all be a better version of ourselves.
Sandra Lemonon’s strong and fierce attitude and her love towards modelling has always made her loved by her fans. She has worked with various designers and photographers expanding her knowledge about the beauty and fashion world. She can be one of the strongest contenders for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 as she has the experience and knowledge required by the pageant and her beautiful looks are just the add on.
Sandra is keen advocate of self-love and urges the young women to accept themselves as they are. She is a supporter of LGBTQ+ community and puts up pictures on her social media about the same. She keeps her fitness in check and tries to work out every day. Even though Sandra is not new to pageantry but she likes to work on her on-stage walk and communication and interview skills to finesse it.
Sandra Lemonon is an extremely optimistic and kind personality and her body language shows. She thanks her family, friends and her team lemonades who have always supported her and uplifted her passion for being able to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020. She is strong, confident and focused and she has high hopes that she will make it to the official candidate list of Miss Universe 2020.
