Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez recently attended a virtual press conference with Lazada where the diva shared her plans to pursue higher education now that her reign as Miss Universe Philippines has officially concluded. She shared that she plans to go back to school and earn a master’s degree.

“I plan to do my Master’s. I am taking up social psychology. I haven’t enrolled yet. I am not sure if the second semester has already started. So for the second half of the year, I’m going to be enrolling. I am definitely focused on continuing my work with the community development. I’ve been volunteering. I actually recently just joined another foundation where I can reach out to the community,” she said.

In addition, Gomez stated that she intends to finish her Marines Reservist Training as well as participate in numerous workshops in order to pursue more entertainment work. Gomez stated that all of her future goals revolve around community development, something she has advocated for since before she became a beauty queen.

She further added, "My career will definitely be associated with that, even if I am performing entertainment gigs. I'll continue to work toward my aim of assisting the community." But, before she gets back to work, Gomez says she's taking some time to relax and catch up on things that help her decompress.

Recently Beatrice became member of the military. She was recently awarded the Military Merit Medal by Philippine Marine Corps Foundation Inc. headed by their President LTGEN Juancho M. Sabban PN(M)(Ret) and Commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps MGEN Nestor C. Herico PN(M).

Aside from being awarded the honor, Beatrice was also named an Honorary Member of Friends of Marines. Beatrice has also conducted relief operations in Mantayog, Mandaue, and prepared 300 packs of relief goods for relief operations in Compostela, Cebu. Beatrice represented Philippines at Miss Universe 2021 and finished among the Top 5 finalists.
