As the official schedule for Miss Universe Philippines has been announced, pageant fanatics have rejoiced to witness some phenomenal women at the national pageant this year. The coronation for the 2021 edition will be held on 25th September 2021, where the reigning Miss Universe Philippines 2021 will crown her successor to represent the country at Miss Universe 2021.

Among many names surfacing as potential delegates for this year, one of the most anticipated names has been of Vincy Vacalares. After her withdrawal from last year's Miss Universe Philippines where she got infected with Covid-19, Vincy has hinted on making a comeback this year. In a recent post on her official social media she wrote, “Every setback is a set up for a good comeback.”

Last year she participated in the competition as Miss Cagayan De Oro but her journey soon came to a halt as she tested positive and was confined in a hospital in Manila. With a heavy heart, she discontinued her journey, but is expected to return stronger and with her best efforts this year.

Not new to the pageant industry, she participated in MUTYA SA BUAHANAN and won the title of Miss Mutya Sa Buahanan in 2016. She also won both titles in the Ms. El Salvador City and Ms. Camiguin in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Later in 2019, he participated in Miss Cagayan De Oro and was crowned as third runner-up at the end of the event. She has also been a judge in XU’s Mr & Ms Ambassador 2019 and expressed her gratitude for being invited by a social media post.

A graduate of Technology Communication Management from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in 2017, Vincy is a certified high school educator in Corpus Christi School. She has always aspired to be crowned as Miss Universe whose journey eventually goes through Miss Universe Philippines, a chance that she missed once, but might come back for another this year.

If Vincy Vacalares joins Miss Universe Philippines 2021, she will definitely be a diva to look out for as she dedicated, determined and hardworking which makes her a great competitor.
