Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the national pageant, will be held this year where delegates from all over the country will compete for the crown and win the opportunity to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2022. Beatrice Luigi Gomez Miss Universe Philippines 2021 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Amongst all the rumored applicants making the list to join the national pageant, Angelique Manto is one of the beauty queens who might make it to Miss Universe Philippines 2022. Manto is a 25-year-old vlogger, social media influencer, model and TV host.

Angelique hails from Lubao, Pampanga and is a former UAAP courtside reporter. Angelique studied AB Communication Arts at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Professionally, she is a former courtside reporter covering basketball for ABS-CBN sports and action.

She also worked as a fashion model and her social media boasts of over 110,000 followers. She has been the host of the vlog life lately which offers weekly videos about healthy living and culture. In her personal life, she is dating the Instagram content blogger David Guison.

Not new to the pageantry, Manto was Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2014, Mutya Ning Lubao 2014, and Miss TSITP 2013 2nd Runner Up. With her experience in the pageant world, her experience of presenting herself well on-camera and her charisma which can be seen in her videos, Manto will definitely be one of the strongest delegates at the 2022 edition if she decides to participate this year.
