The Camp organization has officially announced the delegation of Silvia Celeste Cortesi from Pasay City for the upcoming edition of Miss Universe Philippines 2022. “For 2022, The CAMP is proud to introduce the Phenomenal Woman who is set to compete for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 under our guidance— Ms. Silvia Celeste Rabimbi Cortesi,” they announced.

Celeste is a 24 year-old model and a future licensed real estate broker. Born to a Spanish-Filipina mom and an Italian Father, she has learned to value hard-work, resilience and dedication at a very young age. The former Miss Philippines Earth will create a cross-over delegation at the national pageant this year.

She represented Philippines at the Miss Earth 2018 competition and was placed among the Top 8 finalists with a stellar performance throughout. In the announcement video the diva said, “I really promised myself I will never go back on stage until I would be ready to take the responsibility of a crown and I think I deserve to be the next Miss Universe Philippines because I’m very relatable. I’m not afraid to show my weaknesses, my flaws and imperfections just as much as my strengths.”

Celeste aspires to be role model especially to young women to not just look and focus on perfection but to embrace themselves as a whole. Having had a tough life as a child Celeste never lost her will to live life happily and be hopeful for greater things in life. Her positivity and optimism has definitely brought her a lot of success.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of Miss Universe Philippines, will be held in April 2022. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022. Currently the organization has officially closed the application process and will be revealing the official delegates on 28th February 2022.
