Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Abigail Maclang has made it to the Top 50 at the national competition representing Bulacan. The 23-year-old stunning beauty advocates to give every child the equal opportunity to quality education.

Abigail has earned Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at Bulacan State University. She is former Communications Head at Bulacan State University Debate Society, former Editor-in-Chief at The Mentors' Journal and former English Teacher (JHS & SHS) at Montessori De Sagrada Familia, Inc, a private school.

She also worked as the Chairperson at SK Lugam. Abigail has been termed as a ‘true beauty and brain with a purpose’. She is a woman of substance and wit who has already made a mark at the competition as one of the front-runners for the national crown.
